This was a short group project in collaboration with Supermassive Games themselves, where groups could select a given property and create a prototype inspired by it. We decided upon Little Nightmares II, following a new character, Alice, trying to escape her room, whilst a monster lurks under her bed.
I worked on a ton of the games mechanics, becoming both the gameplay designer and programmer with my blueprint-driven creations. I added pushing and pulling objects, the AI-controlled hand under the bed, picking up and throwing blocks to knock things over, and much, much more. I also assisted in level design, but more so with tweaks and suggestions to better house the included mechanics.
